MAKE A GREAT START TO THE REST OF YOUR LIFE

U-Skills is offering an exceptional learning opportunity for year 12 and 13 secondary school students through a partnership between UCOL and secondary schools.

The aim of U-Skills is for you to continue in your formal school education at your secondary school and help you gain industry recognised qualifications in a tertiary style environment. Our programmes are recognised level 2 or 3 qualifications in a range of career areas that will give you an advantage when it comes to further training or employment.

Our study programme offers the best of both worlds. You get to enjoy the familiarity and support of your school learning environment – with your friends, your sports and cultural activities – while also experiencing study and gaining qualifications at a tertiary level. You will make friends with classmates from other secondary schools who have the same careers interest as you. You get the support of both learning environments while exploring your interests and gaining skills that will help you build a career.

WHAT DOES IT COST?

Being at U-Skills is FREE. NO course fees, NO cost for course materials. If you are accepted and transport is required, an appropriate transport solution will be provided free of cost. Why wait until you leave school to gain qualifications that you have to pay for?
